Minnesota Wild hire Tom Kurvers as new Assistant General Manager

(KMSP) - Fox 9 Sports has confirmed that the Minnesota Wild will hire former Tampa Bay Lightning front office executive Tom Kurvers to become the Wild's new Assistant General Manager.

The Bloomington, Minn. native played 11 seasons in the NHL before stepping into the management side of the game. He won the Hobey Baker award in 1984 and previously worked as the Director of Player Personnel in Phoenix with the Coyotes.
