Minnesota wage growth detailed for those who kept same job: Report

New research shows how much salaries increased year-over-year for Minnesotans who stayed at the same job.

What we know:

Online payroll and HR services provider ADP Pay found that Minnesotans who stayed in their current profession the last 12 months saw their wages increase 4.9% from December 2023 to 2024.

The median annual salary in Minnesota in October was $58,000, according to the same research – the same as it was in November.

Nationwide 

Dig deeper:

Nationwide, the median annual pay for job-stayers in December increased slightly less, at 4.6%. The median annual wage was $59,400 – up $200 from November.

The increase represents the slowest pace of gains since July 2021, according to the research.

It wasn’t all good news, though.

Nationally, wage growth for job-changers declined to 7.1%, from the 7.2% year-over-year in November.
