HENDERSON, Minn. (FOX 9) - As the floodwaters recede, Minnesota Department of Transportation crews are getting a look at the damage left behind.
In Henderson, three of the four roads into town are closed, and it looks like they will be closed for a bit longer.
Monday, MnDOT tweeted a photo of a damaged section on Highway 93 about one mile south of the city. The road is undermined by about three to four feet. The water is currently too high for repairs, so the wait continues.
The Henderson community recently embraced their soggy situation by holding a "Flood Fest" block party.
MnDOT officials say Highway 19 into Henderson is still underwater. They're asking people to pay attention to the road signs and not to go around the road blocks.
