Most popular baby names inspired by the summer season revealed
If you’re due to have a baby this summer season, you may want to consider one of these baby names.
Taking the top 73 names related to summer, researchers at the digital marketing company Hennessey Digital analyzed the most recent Social Security Administration data to reveal the most popular names for newborn boys and girls this year.
According to CEO Jason Hennessey, parents are beginning to seek more unique names for their children, avoiding ones that are most commonly used.
"Summer brings many happy things to mind, including vacations, memories, and relaxation. Many parents often wish to associate their child with positivity, warmth and sunshine," Hennessey said.

Hennessey noted that personal journeys may also be an influence behind choosing a name, often influenced by cultural heritage, family traditions, or individual aspirations for the child's future.
Baby names rising in popularity in 2024
Earlier this year, Laura Wattenberg, the creator of Namerology, said she expected a rise in modern nature names in 2024 including Wren, Juniper, Aurora and Dove for girls.
She said cute old-fashioned names like Millie, Josie, Winnie and Nellie would make a comeback as well.
For boys, Wattenberg said that neo-cowboy and surname-styled names would continue to be popular.
Names from the popular television series "Yellowstone" including Dutton and Tate fit the trends for both neo-cowboy and swift surnames.
