MSP: One killed in single car crash on icy highway in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A 39-year-old Bloomington, Minnesota man was killed while driving on an icy highway in Minneapolis early Thursday. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says the driver drifted of Highway 62 near 34th Avenue and hit a bridge. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
