BUFFALO, Minn. (KMSP) - The Buffalo Police Department is looking for people who may have gotten a flat tire from a specific type of nail.
According to a Facebook post, police have a suspect connected to cases in which multiple vehicles got nails in their tires after driving through "a specific area".
Officials believe 1.5-inch steel cap masonry nails were used to puncture the tires.
Police are in the process of submitting their investigation to the Wright County Attorney's Office for possible charges and are trying to see if there are more possible victims.
They are asking people who had their tires punctured sometime between May 1 and October 23 and can prove the steel cap masonry nail caused the puncture to bring an invoice of the repair work or estimate to the Buffalo Police Department.
