(KMSP) - This weekend might be the best weekend to catch the fall colors in northern Minnesota.
Nearly the entire northern half of the state will be at peak color this weekend, according to the DNR's Fall Color Finder.
The Twin Cities metro is starting to show its colors with about 25 to 50 percent at peak.
DNR officials predicted this year's colors would be "near perfect" thanks to a good amount of summer sun and rainfall.
