Polar Plunge MN 2025 dates, locations and videos

MINNEAPOLIS - It’s Polar Plunge season in Minnesota! The Polar Plunge is Special Olympics Minnesota's largest annual fundraiser. Participants jump into icy waters to raise funds for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities. 

Why you should care:

The Polar Plunge raises critical funds to support Special Olympics Minnesota’s year-round programs, which promote inclusion, health, and athletic opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

By the numbers:

In 2024, more than 21,500 Plungers raised over $5 million statewide.

In 2025, there are 28 locations to take the Plunge.
