Police shoot, kill man outside Eagan, Minn. apartments

EAGAN, Minn, (KMSP) - Police in Eagan, Minn. shot and killed a man who was shooting a gun in the driveway of the Forest Ridge Apartments on Ironwood Lane, Eagan police confirmed Sunday. No officers were injured and no other suspects were involved in the incident, according to police.

The apartment building is on the 1200 block of Ironwood Lane. Police are expected to provide additional details Sunday afternoon.

All three officers involved were place on administrative leave following the incident. 

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
