Rash of vandalism strikes Roseville vehicles overnight Friday

Roseville Police Department is reporting a rash of vandalized vehicles on the 200 block of Larpenteur Avenue West Friday night.

According to Lt. Erika Scheider, most of the cases involved the back windows of cars being smashed. Nothing was stolen from any of the vehicles.

Scheider estimated 15 vehicles were targeted in the attack that occurred mostly at Marion Street Apartments. Video obtained by Fox 9 shows vehicles in the apartment complex parking lot with rear window damage.

Several of the victims indicated they only had liability insurance, so they will have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix their windows.

Roseville Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Roseville Police Department at 651-792-7008 or Crime Stoppers of Minnesota at 1-800-222-8477.
