INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (FOX 9) - A man was fatally pinned while working on a semi-truck that was pulled over on the highway in Inver Grove Heights.

What we know: Traffic camera footage from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) shows authorities responding around 10 p.m. Friday to a semi-truck that was pulled over off of the westbound lanes of Interstate 494 near Babcock Trail.
An incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) states the driver was "performing maintenance" on the semi-truck when the vehicle fatally pinned him.
The report names the driver as 51-year-old Jay Patrick Smith.
Road conditions were reportedly dry at the time of the crash, and no other parties are believed to be involved.
