Shania Twain brings 81-year-old 'superfan' onstage for heartwarming moment
An 81-year-old man got the surprise of his lifetime when country music star Shania Twain invited him onstage during her concert at the Lytham Festival in northwest England on July 4.
Octogenarian Ken Northall, described as a "superfan," joined 58-year-old Twain onstage wearing a cowboy hat, and said his favorite song was "Don’t Be Stupid."
Northall has reportedly been going to Twain's concerts for 25 years.
Festival organizers said they were aware of Northall's fandom and conducted a television interview with him ahead of the concert. Twain's team saw the interview and invited him on stage.
The singer also changed the lyrics of her mega-hit "That Don’t Impress Me Much" in reference Northall, rather than Brad Pitt, according to reports.
