As the search continues for 13-year-old Jayme Closs, the Barron County Sheriff confirmed her parents both died of gunshot wounds at their home in rural Barron County, Wisconsin.

Wednesday marks the third day of the search for Jayme. At 4 p.m., Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald briefed the media on the findings of the autopsies for James and Denise Closs. Their deaths have both been ruled homicides.

Sheriff Fitzgerald says due to evidence found in the home and the audio from the 911 call, investigators believe Jayme was home at the time of the shooting early Monday morning. Police arrived at the rural Barron County home four minutes after the 911 call ended. Officials found her parents' bodies just before 1 a.m.

The sheriff says they believe Jayme remains in danger. No gun was found at the scene.

"We want to bring Jayme home and her smile back in family’s hands," he said.

Since Jayme went missing, authorities have received 400 tips. Sheriff Fitzpatrick is asking people to report any changes in behavior.

Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at 1-855-744-3879.
