St. Paul Mayor to propose 2024 budget Thursday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter will explain his proposed budget for the City of St. Paul Thursday morning.
Last year Carter’s 2023 Budget Proposal totaled $782 million, with a General Fund Budget increase of $28.3 million and a property tax levy increase of 15.34% for 2023.
Carter is then expected to submit his recommended budget to the St. Paul City Council at its next meeting on Aug. 15.
