Target to test next-day online grocery delivery in Mpls. this summer
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Target customers in Minneapolis will soon be able to order groceries and other household essentials online and have them delivered to their home the next day.
Target announced Monday it is piloting its new next-day essentials delivery service, Target Restock, in the Minneapolis area this summer.
According to a news release, shoppers with a REDcard will be eligible to visit an online marketplace and fill a virtual box with thousands of household items, from laundry detergent to cleaning supplies to groceries, and have their orders shipped to their homes for a fee. Orders placed before 1:30 p.m. will be packaged at a nearby store and delivered by the next business day.
Target is currently testing the next-day delivery service with select team members at Target headquarters.
