Temporary flood wall holds back 4 feet of standing water in Henderson, Minn.

HENDERSON, Minn. (FOX 9) - A temporary flood wall set up by MnDOT is holding back 4 feet of water in Henderson, Minn.

The wall blocks a portion of Hwy. 93 that leads into the town of Henderson. The highway has been closed between Hwy. 169 and North 5th Street for over a week due to the standing water from the Minnesota River.

According to MnDOT, the wall, owned by the city of Henderson, is a series of aluminum planks laid on the road and a plastic liner that seals the wall from the water.

The temporary wall was holding back 4 feet of water as of March 25.
