The University of Minnesota is imposing a temporary vaccine mandate for large indoor events.

The University of Minnesota is imposing a temporary vaccine mandate for large indoor events.

Starting Friday, everyone over the age of 5 will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test taken in the last 72 hours to attend indoor events with more than 200 people.

The mandate will be in place through at least Feb. 9.

The requirement applies to all U of M campuses across the state.
