Minnesota Vikings linebacker Greenway is constantly giving back to his community, but this week he surprised one of his football camp's participants with a life-changing gift.
Harley Carnes was paralyzed from the neck down due to injuries sustained in a car crash while on spring break with his mother in Florida. Recognizing Harley's perseverance, Greenway and the community of Hutchinson, Minn. came together and gave Harley and his family a brand new, accessible van.
"Our camp mantra is appreciation, and I think that just ties into what we are trying to teach these kids at the camp," said Greenway.
It's been a long 4 months of recovery, but Harley is finally out of the hospital.
