MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minneapolis police say the woman in a reported kidnapping in downtown Minneapolis Tuesday night was found safe Wednesday morning.
Sgt. Darcy Horn said the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. at S 12th Street and Lasalle Avenue. Police received a report of a man forcing a woman into a black sedan. The suspect was described as a man aged 40 to 50 years old, about 6 feet tall, medium build, bald and was wearing a white t-shirt.
According to early investigation, police believe the two people know each other.
Anyone with information on the reported kidnapping is asked to contact Minneapolis police.
The incident is still being investigated as a kidnapping, according to Horn.
