Wrong-way crash on I-35W in Minneapolis leaves 1 arrested and 3 injured

A Rosemount man has been arrested after he drove the wrong-way on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis early Sunday morning.

What we know: According to Minnesota State Patrol, around 1:15 a.m., troopers responded to reports of a wrong-way crash on I-35W near 60th Street in Minneapolis. 

A 33-year-old man driving a Dodge Durango was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of I-35W when he crashed into a Toyota Camry. 

The driver of the Dodge Durango was uninjured in the collision, but his passenger, a 40-year-old woman from Duluth, was left with minor injuries. 

Authorities say the driver of the Toyota Camry, a 30-year-old man from St. Paul, suffered minor injuries. His passenger, a 25-year-old man, also from St. Paul, has "severe non-life-threatening injuries." 

The driver of the Durango was arrested and booked under suspicion of DWI and criminal vehicular operation, law enforcement said. 

What we don't know: The current conditions of those injured are unknown.
