Zimmerman garage fire sends 1 to hospital

ZIMMERMAN, Minn. (KMSP) - One man went to the hospital with burn injuries after a detached garage caught fire in Zimmerman, according to the Zimmerman Fire Chief.
Firefighters responded to the blaze around 4:45 p.m. on Monday on Oakland Road.
The chief says a person was working on a vehicle inside the garage and a mechanical issue likely started the fire.
Crews took a man to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. His condition is unknown.
The garage is likely a total loss.
