Emily Pofahl
A Fresno, California native, Emily fell in love with the Midwest while studying journalism at the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!). Itching to get out in the field, Emily worked at the student newspaper, The Minnesota Daily, covering protests in the wake of George Floyd's death. She also freelanced for the Sahan Journal, writing in-depth obituaries for immigrants who died in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Emily started her TV career in Rochester, Minnesota and most recently reported in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Memorable stories include traveling to Uvalde, Texas in the aftermath of the Robb Elementary School shooting, covering elections in battleground Wisconsin, and navigating floodwaters during historic Milwaukee storms.
