Sean Skinner
Sean Skinner is the News Operations Manager for KMSP-TV (FOX 9). A seasoned veteran of the industry, Sean has been filming, editing, producing, and directing news stories, documentaries, and short films for over 25 years.
Prior to stepping into his leadership role at KMSP, Sean served as the Executive Producer for "Doc 9" content and as the station's Assistant Chief Photojournalist. He joined the FOX 9 team in April 2022 after a distinguished 20-year career as a news photographer at another Twin Cities station.
Decades of working behind the lens in television and film have given Sean a keen eye for visual storytelling and a deep expertise in the technical and creative processes required to bring impactful stories to life. A true film buff, Sean enjoys spending his time away from the newsroom with his wife and three kids, often taking his dog, Waldon, for walks.
