Minnesota Vikings take shots on Tottenham goalie in sports switch
EAGAN, Minn. (KMSP) - The Minnesota Vikings took on the other kind of football at practice Monday.
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. is in town for a matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium against A.C. Milan on Tuesday. Both the Vikings and Spurs took a break from training to go toe-to-toe on some skills in a sports switcheroo. The Vikings gave their best shot at goal scoring, while Spurs lined up for field goals.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins attempted to throw off the goalie with a stutter step, but still had his shot blocked. Running back Latavius Murray was the only Viking able to sneak one past the goalie.
As for the Spurs, they went 3 for 3 when it came to field goals.
