Minnesota Wild assistant coach Darryl Sydor returned to practice for the first time since he was arrested in August for driving while impaired.

Sydor, 43, had a 0.30 blood alcohol concentration and was driving his 12-year-old son to a hockey game when he was stopped by police in Fridley, Minn. He pled guilty to second degree DWI in October.

Head coach Mike Yeo said Sydor will be eased back into his duties with the team. At this point, Sydor is not allowed to travel with the Wild and he will not be on the bench during games.
