Police surgeon: George Floyd died of positional asphyxia

Dr. William Smock, emergency room physician and police surgeon from Louisville, KY, says after reviewing George Floyd's case he determined he died of positional asphyxia and ruled out excited delirium. Dr. Smock is a medical expert for the prosecution in the Derek Chauvin trial.

Dr. Tobin: No oxygen left in George Floyd's body

Dr. Tobin told the Derek Chauvin trial jury Thursday that George Floyd ended up with zero oxygen in his body, as captured in the video footage from the scene. He then testified by his calculations, Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd’s back and neck for another three minutes.
