Four frenzied chefs take to the stage for an exciting show at the Children's Theatre Company. Cookin' features Korean drumming, knife throwing and fire-blowing. Shows run through October 22nd.

A barbecue spot tucked off Highway 7 in Minnestrista is drawing folks from all over the Twin Cities and beyond. Buddy Boy Fine BBQ is 20 years in the making for the Cox family. They started with a food truck that they took all over the country. Executive Chef Joe even spent a few years sleeping in his car while working the food truck on the oil fields. He says he learned the art of wood-fired cooking from his mom who was raised in the mountains of Taiwan in a village without electricity. Buddy Boy Fine BBQ is open Wednesday to Saturday. Ability Bash: Annual fundraiser helps with job training

A Minnesota company is pushing to make the workforce more inclusive for people with disabilities. Sine the 1960's MDI has been serving people with disabilities by offering inclusive employment opportunities. Every year, the company hosts their Ability Bash. The event is taking place Thursday, Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom in Golden Valley.

Fuel up at Fawkes Alley Coffee in Loring Park

At Fawkes Alley Coffee in Loring Park, 100% of the profits will go right back to the community’s youth; more specifically, the Futsal Society. Futsal is an alternative to club soccer for kids and families who can’t afford the costs of club sports. The profits from the coffee shop will help sustain the organization and its growth across the Twin Cities. Fawkes Alley even employs the teens who play in the league. The shop is open daily from 8am to 4pm and serves Groundwire Coffee out of Northfield, plus fresh pastries. It’s located at 1621 Harmon Place in Minneapolis.

Twin Cities fall destinations: Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest

Fall destinations are opening for the season and an orchard just south of Jordan was recently named Best Apple Orchard in Minnesota. Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest came under new ownership last year. The Ferguson family has added several new attractions and upgrades. There’s apple picking, a corn maze, jumping pads, a cow train, apple launchers, a pumpkin patch plus a café and Cider Barn for adults. Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Nov. 5t It’s located at 8251 Old Highway 169 Blvd.

Minnesotans go to the Minnesota State Fair for all sorts of reasons. For some, it’s the food. For others, it’s the entertainment. For Sue Buetow, it’s for the buttons. Buetow has been collecting Minnesota State Fair buttons for years. She has about 1,000. Some small, some big, some are from politicians, and others mark historical moments at the fair, like 100 years of the cattle barn. Her oldest is from 1910.
