Minnesota Twins make equipment donation

In an effort to keep baseball alive across many communities, the Minnesota Twins have collaborated with “Pitch In For Baseball & Softball” to provide new baseball and softball equipment to 14 Minneapolis and St. Paul middle schools (covering 47 teams).

MLB, players reach agreement, paving way to end months-long lockout

The MLB lockout ended Thursday when a divided players’ association voted to accept management’s offer to salvage a 162-game season that will start April 7. Owners approved the five-year labor contract with a 30-0 vote. MLB was expected to lift the lockout around 7 p.m. on its 99th day.

The Twins are supposed to be back at Target Field on April 7, but with players and owners unable to reach an agreement, opening day is currently in jeopardy.
