Visit with Chloe the Sloth: Weekend happenings at the Como Zoo

The winter flower show is now open at the sunken garden at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. This display features pinks and purples that are perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Holiday. The show will be in place through March 20. Also happening this weekend, a Tropical Oasis celebration from Jan. 14-16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be free family and kids activities including crafts, games and interactive stations. Guests will encounter stingrays, frogs, an anaconda and Chloe the sloth in the Tropical Encounters exhibit. And on Sunday afternoon, ‘Music Under the Glass.’ The live performances will take place in the tropical gardens with beer and wine available.

Penguins check out the Holiday Flower Show at Como

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory stopped by the Buzz with some creepy, crawly guests

With Halloween nearly here, it's time to embrace everything spooky, creepy and crawly. Senior Zookeeper Mike Lee from the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory joined the Buzz with some Halloween- friendly guests, a spiny stick insect and a cockroach. Como is open daily - but you must reserve your free tickets online at comozooconservatory.org

Como Zoo & Como Town Amusement Park Reopen

The Como Zoo is now open daily from 10am to 4pm. Before you go, you’ll need a reservation and masks are required. Also included in the safety plan, a one-way walking path that begins at the new Cleveland Court. It’s located near the carousel and Como Town. Reservations are only available on Como’s website: https://comozooconservatory.org/ Como Town will reopen Wednesday - Sunday with limited-capacity time slot packages at 10:00, 11:30, 1:00 and 2:30.
