Twin Cities road conditions following snowstorm

Roads conditions throughout the Twin Cities were slick early Monday following a snowstorm that dropped several inches of accumulation that hasn’t been seen much this winter. FOX 9’s Babs Santos provides a live look as city crews prepare for another morning storm on Tuesday.

Crash compilation after MN spring snowstorm

The Minnesota State Patrol on Monday said between midnight and 7 a.m. there were 396 crashes (22 with injury, one serious/fatal) and 339 vehicle spinouts/vehicles off the road and 14 jackknifed semi-trucks. Sunday had some heavy snow across the Twin Cities, resulting in roads being sloppy and slick into Monday.

MN weather: Spring snow crashes and spinouts

The first round of spring snow created slick road conditions in portions of the state. The Minnesota State Patrol reported 175 crashes and 101 vehicle spinouts from 5 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on Friday.
