Minneapolis and St. Paul officials: Move your vehicles off streets for snow

With some significant snow in the forecast this week, Minneapolis and St. Paul plow crews are getting ready for a busy few days. In Minneapolis, the city is asking people to move vehicles off side streets as possible. To aid with that, Mayor Frey says the city opening up about 1,300 spaces in some parking lots for those who don't have a place to put their vehicle.

A car crash Monday afternoon in St. Paul left one person dead and another hurt, according to police. 

Stolen car crashes into St. Paul restaurant

Three teenagers were arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing into a building in downtown St. Paul on Wednesday night. The car was reported as stolen.

Vehicles stuck on I-94 near Moorhead due to blowing snow

This Minnesota State Patrol video was taken about 5 miles east of Moorhead. MnDOT and tow trucks are working to remove the stranded vehicles and clear the roads. Some of the vehicles have been stuck there since 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Blowing snow is making travel conditions impossible in western Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, there are several stranded motorists about 10 miles east of Moorhead on Interstate 94. Snow has drifted around stalled and parked vehicles, with some vehicles parked on the roadway since 9 p.m. Tuesday.
