Bloomington youth choir to perform in Dallas
One of the best youth choirs in the entire country is based on Bloomington, and after a grueling audition process the Angelica Cantanti high school choir has been chosen to sing in front of 8,000 choir directors and music educators at the American Choral Director Association conference in Dallas this spring. Considered the “Super Bowl of choral events,” the 70 students are beginning fundraising efforts to make the trip a reality – performing on Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at Peach Church in Eagan.

Haunted attraction returns for MOA's spooky season
It’s getting extra spooky at Mall of America. Onionhead’s Revenge is back for year two and they’ve added more scare to the haunted attraction. The story-driven experience takes place in a 45,000 square foot space that used to house level two of Bloomingdales. The American Monsters crew has transformed it into a foggy dark and very haunted bayou of Louisiana. There are also two bars, one in the lobby that is open to anyone and another in the middle of the experience. It opens on Sept. 27 and runs through Nov. 2.

Mermaids make a splash at Sea Life at Mall of America

They will appear underwater and offer meet and greets on land on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sea Life is located on Level One East at the Mall of America. The event does require a special mermaid event ticket.
