Lawsuit: Delta off-duty worker mid-air assault

A lawsuit from a Minnesota woman claims that she was the victim of unwanted touching and kissing from an off-duty Delta employee during a flight from Las Vegas to Minneapolis. FOX 9’s Courtney Godfrey has the details.

Voters approve, extend tax increases in several Minnesota cities

Despite concerns about inflation and a 2024 presidential election ahead, voters throughout Minnesota approved several ballot questions aimed at maintenance of city utilities, as well as, projects for future use of its residents that either raised or extended taxes.

Bloomington PD mental health pilot program

The Bloomington Police Department shared a new mental health pilot program that provides immediate free therapy services to the patient and family. The rapid response team starts in December.

California Dreamin’ at the new Malibu Barbie Cafe

Following the success of the Barbie movie, the Malibu Barbie Café is ready to open its bubblegum pink doors in the Mall of America. The café is in the former Hard Rock Café location on the south side of Nickelodeon Universe. It’s been completely transformed with several photo ops, a retail store, barbie displays and a small rink to roller skate in. It opens on Oct. 27 and is scheduled to remain in place through mid-January though it could stay longer. The pop-up is from Bucketlisters, a brand that creates experiences all across the U.S.. Reservations are encouraged ahead of time.

Bloomington schools book ban challenges

There are dueling efforts in the Bloomington school system to both ban certain literature and keep the books thought to be controversial. FOX 9’s Rose Schmidt has the latest developments on the debate.
