It was a dramatic first day of trial for a St. Paul man accused of attempting to kill his ex-wife by dumping a toxic liquid on her. The trial currently rests in the hands of the judge after an evidentiary issue emerged during cross-examination of the victim.

Sunday morning is 10 degrees warmer than Saturday morning, with the morning temperature being 43 degrees. Sunday will be a warm start to the week, with a high temperature of 56 degrees. As the week starts, temperatures will be in the low 60s, which is warm for this time of year.

Voters in several Minnesota cities had school board races on their ballots during Tuesday’s election at a time when political experts say these races are becoming more divisive.
