Teen charged in 4 shootings, including one outside St. Paul school

A 19-year-old man in St. Paul is charged in four separate shootings in the city, including firing shots outside a school that grazed a teacher last winter. According to the charges, the teen told police he's been in a gang since middle school.

Peanuts creator's life explored in exhibition

Minnesota’s most famous cartoonist is the inspiration behind a new exhibit at the History Center. The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz opens on July 22nd. It explores the life of the Peanuts gang illustrator and the stories behind the creation of his characters, like the fact that he initially planned to name Snoopy, Sniffy. The exhibit will be at the Minnesota History Center through June of 2024.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) continues to study ways in which the creation of I-94 impacted neighborhoods in St. Paul, and review ways in which it could be potentially reconnect them more than 50 years later.

MnDOT on Monday will unveil its Interstate 94 corridor project options. A group has been advocating to put a land bridge over I-94 to reconnect the Rondo neighborhood in St. Paul.

Hearing held on proposed St. Thomas sports arena

St. Paul residents got a chance to weigh in on plans for a proposed multipurpose arena on the University of St. Thomas campus that would host basketball and hockey games for the college.
