Wisconsin governor orders non-essential businesses to close

Gov. Tony Evers said Monday he will order the closure of all non-essential businesses starting Tuesday, and is urging people to stay at home to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus that has killed four people in the state and infected nearly 400.

COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 416 confirmed cases, 5 deaths

There are now five deaths in Wisconsin linked to the novel coronavirus, according to an update Monday from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The state now has 416 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is an increase of 135 cases from Sunday.

Coronavirus in Wisconsin: 155 cases as of Thursday

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers ordered a statewide ban on all gatherings of more than 10 people and closed all bars and restaurants, except for delivery and pickup orders, in an attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19. Public schools will also be closed for an extended period of time.
