As we head into Thanksgiving week, it's likely going to get a whole lot colder as we enter a below average pattern across Minnesota and much of the Northern U.S. for just about the only time this fall.

It's staying rather blustery across the state, with falling temperatures and areas of snow on Wednesday. The Twin Cities metro could see on-and-off flakes through the evening before drying out overnight. The overnight showers will slowly fade in the morning for the Twin Cities metro, but the cloud coverage will linger. Temperatures start on the warmer side in the 50s but fall into the 40s throughout the day. FOX 9 meteorologist Cody Matz has your forecast.

Rainy Monday evening leads into Tuesday

The Twin Cities are due to see the most rain they've seen since the summer, with 2 to 2.5 inches expected into Tuesday before it slows down. Temperatures will remain above average in the 50s until they drop later in the week.
