MN weather: Cold weekend ahead

Damp and mild Thursday with off-and-on showers that continue sporadically Thursday night into Friday morning. We'll fall into the 40s Friday morning, but blustery and cold gusts cause temps to keep falling into the 30s (with wind chills in the 20s) into Friday afternoon.

There's another round of rain overnight Wednesday and lasting into Thursday. Looking ahead, temperatures drop for a chilly Halloween forecast, with temperatures expected to be in the 30s.
