MN weather: Morning showers, afternoon sun Tuesday

Spring showers greet us Tuesday morning but will clear out for a sunny and warm afternoon. As a warm front pushes through in the afternoon, isolated storms could redevelop. Portions of eastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, are under a Level 1 marginal risk for severe weather on Tuesday.

MN weather: Sunny and comfortable Monday

It's going to be a beautiful day on Monday with highs in the mid-70s and plenty of sunshine. We could see a chance of showers overnight and into Tuesday morning as the system pushes east. Temperatures heat up on Tuesday, and we could see some isolated rubles redevelop in the afternoon.

After a beautiful, sunny Friday, some clouds will roll into the state overnight. Early Saturday morning some light rain is possible. Clouds and rain will clear for partly sunny Saturday afternoon.

MN weather: Warmer and less windy day Friday

Friday is feeling warmer, with temperatures in the upper 70s. While it’s less windy, there’s still a noticeable breeze that’s hanging around through parts of the weekend.

MN weather: Windy and coolish Thursday

It's going to be a blustery day with winds at 20-35+ mph and cooler temperatures in the 60s. Friday will be less windy, and temperatures will warm into the mid-70s with more sunshine.

Storm damage in MN, anticipated flooding in St. Paul

Tuesday's line of storms left damage, including downed trees, in parts of Minnesota. The recent rainfall is also causing rivers to rise, and St. Paul is preparing for possible flooding along the Mississippi River by temporarily closing parks and streets.
