MN weather: Showers Friday, more rain this weekend

April showers bring May flowers and the Twin Cities metro could get more rain on Friday and this weekend. On and off rain showers are expected for Friday with highs in the mid-50s. The precipitation lingers into Saturday morning, but the rest of the day looks relatively dry. More rain returns for Sunday as temperatures dip back into the 50s.

MN weather: Sunny Thursday but winds return

The sunshine returns on Thursday, but so does the wind. The afternoon features highs in the mid-60s, plenty of sunshine, and a breeze out of the southeast at 15-25 mph in the metro area. On Friday, the rain moves in and temperatures cool to highs in the 50s.

MN weather: Sunny, calm Wednesday

After a few breezy days, the wind calms down on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and a high of 60 degrees for the Twin Cities metro. Winds pick up again on Thursday out of the southeast, bringing warmer temperatures along with it.

It's another breezy day in April with slightly cooler temperatures for a high of 60 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area. Scattered showers on Tuesday afternoon are possible.

MN weather: Warm sunshine Sunday

Temperatures are forecasted to warm up Sunday with highs peaking in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Expect plenty of sunshine for our Sunday before clouds increase on Monday. Monday will likely feature a strong south breeze and a few showers later in the day. Watch for a few light showers for Tuesday as well. Our midweek weather is shaping up to stay quiet, but a chance of showers returns for Friday.
