Breezy weekend ahead with rain arriving Sunday

We’ll have mild temperatures, but a stronger southeast wind on Saturday before clouds return along with periods of rain for Sunday. Scattered light showers look possible into Monday with fairly cloudy sky conditions for those looking to catch a glimpse of the eclipse around here. Dry and warmer days return later next week.

FOX 9's Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard was at Target Field for the Twin's home opener Thursday. It was a gorgeous home opener with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Looking ahead, Friday will warmer and breezy with temperatures in the 50s. By Sunday, the clouds are expected to return, possibly bringing some rain.

700 feet separates a dusting and a foot of snow in southeast Minnesota

Widespread snow decorated parts of far southeast Minnesota and much of Wisconsin on Tuesday night and early Wednesday, leading to a foot of fresh snow in some cases. But not all spots were created equal. Elevation ended up playing a huge factor in just how much stuck.
