Art Shanty Projects moves to Lake Harriet for Super Bowl
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - It is an annual event that Minnesotans are familiar with, but out-of-towners visiting for the Super Bowl are about to be "bowled" over by the concept.
The Art Shanty Projects features quirky structures that are uniquely Minnesotan. The temporary community of approximately 22 shanties has sprung up on Lake Harriet – a new location that makes sense for this year with the Super Bowl in town.
The Art Shanty Projects are open to the public for two more weekends—on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Feb. 11.
