Brooklyn Park discuss new mental health alternative response team [RAW]

Brooklyn Park on Wednesday, March 22, discussed its newly implemented mental health alternative response team. The team is comprised of a Hennepin County social worker and a North EMS community paramedic. It's the first-of-its kind team that's being dispatched to a variety of mental health calls in the community, and provides an alternative to a police response in certain situations.
