Puppet fashion show planned as the Avalon Theatre reopens

Minneapolis’ iconic Avalon Theatre is back and kicking off its return with a Puppet Fashion show from the Heart of the Beast Theatre. The show begins on Thursday April 13th and runs through Sunday. It’s also a chance for theatre-goers to get a look at the renovations happening at the historic stage. It was originally built in 1909. That theatre burned down and another was built in the same place. The Heart of the Beast Theatre got its start in 1979. They’re also planning to open a puppet library at the end of the month where people can check out the puppets for free, like you would a book at the library.
