Corgi races coming to Canterbury Park
Watch out for the wiggle butts! That’s a commonly-used nickname for corgis and they’re taking over Canterbury Park on Sunday, July 30. The Dog Race Days series continues with corgi races in between the horse races. There will be six heats with 72 corgis competing to move on to the “Best of Beed’ races on Sept. 3. Horseracing begins at 1 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, and $7 for kids between 6 and 17 years old. Kids 5 and under are free. The day will also include free facepainting and pony rides from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
