Holidays on Nicollet features window displays and more
In a nod to holidays past in Minneapolis, more than a dozen old figures from the Dayton’s Eighth floor holiday scenes have been restored and placed in storefronts along Nicollet. Local artists used the figures as inspiration for their creations. Along with the celebratory windows, there are four pop-up holiday shops to peruse that support local small businesses. The shops feature roughly 70 vendors and will be open through January 5th from 11am to 6pm Tuesday through Saturdays. Here’s where you can find the decorated storefronts: • 60 South 6th • City Center (two locations) • Gaviidae Common • IDS Center • Meet Minneapolis Visitor Information Center • The Dayton’s Project • U.S. Bancorp Center • Young Quinlan (Strive Bookstore)
