March of Dimes puts focus on maternal mortality

The March of Dimes plans to mark Mother's Day while also highlighting a pressing issue: a new report released this past week by the Centers for Disease Control shows that the number of women in the U.S. dying from pregnancy-related complications remains at a crisis level, particularly among women of color.
