Stillwater dance studio celebrates 10 years
Saturday is National Dance Day and it also happens to coincide with the grand opening of a dance studio in Stillwater. Curio Dance has been rapidly growing for the last decade and needed more space so they built a state-of-the-art studio for their 320+ dancers. 40 of those dancers are part of their group called "Up Down Funk." Brother and sister duo, Dario and Giselle Mejia started this troupe for their brother who has special needs. That group, and many others from the studio will be performing at the Grand Opening on Saturday, September 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. It’s located at 1655 Washington Avenue S. in Stillwater and the event is free and open to the public.
