Man shot by police linked to multiple Mpls shootings

The man shot by St. Paul police, Earl Bennett, is facing charges for his alleged involvement in a shooting at a sober living facility, and police say he is also a suspect in a deadly Minneapolis encampment shooting. Bennett has a first appearance scheduled Wednesday afternoon for charges filed in Hennepin County, but he remains at Region Hospitals in critical but stable condition.
