Oscar-Nominated movie uses technology from local 3D printing company
3D printing is transforming animation and movie making and Eden Prairie’s Stratasys plays a big role in the Oscar-nominated movie, ‘Missing Link.’ In that film, Laika Studios used Stratasys technology to print 106,000 extremely specific color 3D faces. The film went on to win a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature beating out Disney’s ‘Toy Story 4.’
